It’s showtime!
Extraordinary talents and performances from selected students of Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) was staged during the EVSU performing arts’ version of ABSCBN’s Showtime, EVSUWTIME, last August 4 at the Auditorium.

Cheers and applauses filled the auditorium as the EVSU chorale performed a comic musical skit with the song
“Sadto Anay” and its own version of Fredie Aguilar’s original hit “Anak”.

The SamLeyaw Dance Company presented an interpretative dance about the love story of two disabled lovers with the song tayong dalawa..

Zero Gravity, an allmale dance group rendered a hip hop exhibition with a variety of comical drama which made the crowd laugh-out-loud.

An exceptional performance from Euclid Gayas, BSIEd-3A student unveiled his masterpiece “Fallen Angel” in just two and a half minutes.

Like Zero Gravity, Dance Alliance also performed a hip hop dance and comical skit but aside from those they also
added acrobatic stunts.

For their finale, the members of the performing arts gave multi-talented performance.

“The show is not a competition among the members of the performing arts, but this events is intended to showcase
the talents of EVSU students,” stressed Prof. Biato Ambe, musical director.
