President's Message

      The President’s Message

My warmest congratulations to the graduating class of  2017!

It is heartwarming to know that your years of hard work and dedication to your academic success has paid off and you have rightly earned your place at the 95th Commencement Exercises of the Eastern Visayas State University.

“The greatest talent of all is perseverance…” said Music in Mitch Albom’s book, The Magic Strings of Frankie Presto, and each one of you has just proven this to be true.

Because of perseverance, your achievements at this point are impressive.

However, you have not realized these on your own as you have been supported by selfless people, your parents, guardians, siblings,

the EVSU administrators and professors, and even by your fellow students; so join me in commending and thanking these wonderful people behind your successes.

And as you leave behind the world of potentials and step into the threshold of the world of realities, it is our hope that EVSU has prepared you to become leaders not only in your chosen fields but also in your respective families and communities.

Leaders whose perseverance and persistence can forge the future and push the boundaries of possibilities.  Leaders who have the courage to make this world a better place to learn, to live, and to thrive.

Leaders who are committed to make a difference fully aware that they have only one life to live and only one chance to make this difference.

We look forward to a brighter future because you will be at the forefront leading this generation of professionals and public servants.  Thank you in advance for making EVSU proud!

Congratulations once again! God bless you all.
