PROGRAM MISSION

To develop competent Information Technology human resource that serves the society and contribute for sustainable development through high education int he field of Information Technology.


QUALITY OBJECTIVES

  1. To achieve 100% compliance with IT curriculum development from accrediting agencies/bodies by 2024.
  2. To produce 80% of IT graduates who can demonstrate a high level of competence and are equipped with the necessary skills and expertise.
  3. To strengthen faculty and students 100% engagement to research and extension activities.
  4. To achieve 100% very satisfactory delivery of service in the areas of instruction, research, extension, and production.
  5. To improve the equipment, facilities, utilities, and learning environment in order to achieve a 100% increase in service satisfaction.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OUTCOMES

The Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology of Eastern Visayas State University, after five years of graduation shall:

PEO1. Build career into build not limited to supervisory position in different field of computing specialization of an information technology at local, national and international level with moral, ethical, social responsibility and personal well-being.

PEO2. Posses professional IT skills to initiate solutions in IT-related domains such as computer programming, networking and troubleshooting, among others.

PEO3. Pursue life-long learning though professional development and training, and IT certifications.


PROGRAM OUTCOMES

  1.  Apply knowledge of mathematics and science to solve electrical engineering problems.
  2.  Design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and inter-pret data.
  3.  Design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as  economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety,  manufacturability, and sustaina-bility, in accordance with standards.
  4. Function in multidisciplinary and multi-cultural teams.
  5. Identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems.
  6. Understand professional and ethical responsibility.
  7. Ability to communicate effectively.
  8. Broad education necessary to understand the impact of engineer-ing solutions in a global, economics environmental, and       societal context.
  9. Recognition of the need for, and an ability to engage in life-long learning.
  10. Knowledge of the contemporary issues.
  11. Ability to use techniques, skills, and modern engineering.
  12. Knowledge and understanding of engineering and management principles as a member and leader in a team,  to manage projects and in multidisciplinary environments.
