Abstract
The study sought to locate and describe unrecorded traditional games in Leyte, as well as to create a guide for their play. It detailed the fundamental aspects of each game, including the setting, the participants, the materials utilized in the game, the pre-game preparation, and the mechanics. Additionally, it recognized the values contained in the games examined using the Department of Education's Values Education Framework. The study produced a guide on how to play traditional games in Leyte. The handbook features 12 games that are classified according to their essential qualities, fitness component growth, play skill development, emotional-social development, and game values.
