Bulletin OES drives manual revamp

The Office of Extension Services (OES) held a manual revision workshop for operational clarity at the EVSU Studio Room, Wednesday, April 23.

With the goal of refining and revitalizing the existing OES manual, the workshop gathered Extension Heads and Coordinators from EVSU across colleges and campuses led by the Director of Extension Services Prof. Rustom D. Clemente.

Dr. Analyn C. Españo, Vice President for Research and Development and Extension Services, officially opened the workshop with a message emphasizing the importance of adaptability and forward-thinking governance. “This initiative is more than just editing a document,” Dr. Españo said. “It is about ensuring our office remains responsive and relevant in the face of evolving demands.”

Prof. Rustom D. Clemente, Director for Extension Services, provided a walkthrough of the current EVSU-OES manual where he revisited core policies and procedural frameworks.

Heads and Coordinators engaged in open discussions and brainstorming sessions aimed at identifying gaps and revising content development.

This manual revision workshop is part of the OES’ larger thrust to professionalize and modernize its operations ensuring that EVSU remains a leader in extension work across the region.
