The office of Extension Services conducted a Phase 3 of Training-Workshop on Impact Assessment of Extension Programs and Project with the resource person from Southern Leyte State University Dr. Rhoderick D. Malangsa held at the EVSU ORDExS Studio Room last June 23-24, 2025.
Said workshop covered several topics during the first day, including the review of extension proposal documents, theory of change and impact pathways, and the most significant change, while the second day focused on Bennett’s Hierarchy of Program Outcomes and the preparation of impact assessment reports.
A series of hands-on training sessions and output presentations were also conducted throughout the event.
In attendance were Dr. Analyn C. Españo, Vice President for Research and Development and Extension Services; Prof. Rustom D. Clemente, Director of Extension Services; Extension Heads and Coordinators from various campuses and colleges; and project leaders and extensionists.
Dr. Españo delivered a message aligned with the framework of Extension Services, saying, “The HEART of this framework reminds us that behind every program are real people—individuals and families whose lives we strive to uplift through empathy, dedication, and shared purpose.”
Meanwhile, Prof. Clemente closed the two-day workshop with words of appreciation, acknowledging the participants’ active involvement and commitment.
