In fulfillment of its mandate as a state university committed to knowledge creation and dissemination, Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) advances Research Publications as a vital component of its academic and institutional development. EVSU’s research publication initiatives are guided by the Philippine Higher Education Research Agenda, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) policies, and international standards of academic excellence. They are also aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). The University supports faculty, staff, and students in producing high-quality research by providing capacity-building, mentorship, peer-review mechanisms, and opportunities for publication in reputable journals and conference proceedings. Research outputs are also disseminated through the University’s own journals, policy briefs, and extension publications, ensuring accessibility and relevance to stakeholders and partner communities.

EVSU’s innovation initiatives are anchored on the Philippine Innovation Act (R.A. 11293), the Higher Education Research and Development Agenda, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). The University supports innovation through multidisciplinary collaboration, incubation hubs, industry partnerships, and funding opportunities that enable faculty, researchers, and students to develop new technologies, products, and processes. EVSU INSTITUTIONAL JOURNAL

The INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT JOURNAL (ITMJ) is a peer-reviewed publication of the Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU), Tacloban City, Philippines. It is open to the global community of scholars who wish to have their researches published. Its official email address is itmj@evsu.edu.ph. The frequency of issue is once a year.

The efficiency and effectiveness of the editorial review process are critically dependent upon the actions of both the research authors and the reviewers. An author accepts the responsibility of preparing the research paper for evaluation by independent reviewers. The responsibility includes subjecting the manuscript to evaluation by peers and revising it prior to submission. The review process is not to be used as a means of obtaining feedback at early stages of developing the research paper.
