EVSU shall:
Guarantee equitable access to education and support services for indigenous peoples, women, persons with disabilities (PWDs), economically disadvantaged students, and other underrepresented groups.
Integrate inclusivity and equity principles into curricula, research, and extension programs to build awareness, reduce disparities, and empower communities.
Promote non-discrimination and diversity by enforcing institutional policies that uphold human rights, gender sensitivity, cultural respect, and zero tolerance for bias or exclusion.
Strengthen student financial assistance and scholarship programs to ensure that no learner is left behind due to economic or social barriers.
Provide safe, accessible, and inclusive facilities that cater to the needs of differently abled persons and vulnerable populations.
Empower marginalized groups through livelihood, leadership, and skills development programs that enhance employability, self-reliance, and civic participation.
Engage in partnerships with LGUs, government agencies, and civil society organizations to implement equity-driven initiatives that reduce educational and economic disparities.
Institutionalize monitoring and accountability mechanisms to track EVSU’s progress in reducing inequalities and to continuously improve inclusivity strategies.
Through these commitments, EVSU envisions itself as an inclusive, equitable, and socially responsive university, producing empowered graduates, transformative research, and community partnerships that reduce inequalities and uplift the most vulnerable sectors of society.
