Eastern Visayas State University, through the Office of Internationalization for Higher Education inked a Memorandum of Understanding with the World Youth Alliance held at the Office of the University President, Tuesday, November 19.
Present during the signing were EVSU President Dr. Dennis C. De Paz; Dr. Analyn C. Españo, Vice President for Student Development, Internationalization, and External Affairs; Prof. Fustito A. Aure, Director for Internationalization for Higher Education; and Dr. Soñia T. Enrille, Director of the Student Affairs and Services Office.
Representing the World Youth Alliance was Mr. Lord Leomer B. Pomperada, Director for HDC Expansion, who highlighted WYA’s commitment as a global organization promoting human dignity through education, policy, and culture.
The partnership emphasizes key educational programs such as the Human Dignity Curriculum (HDC), a values-based K–12 program that fosters an understanding of each person’s intrinsic worthwhile nurturing personal identity and human excellence.
As part of the collaboration, the Office of Student Affairs and Services will support the implementation and student engagement components of the Human Dignity Curriculum across EVSU campuses.
EVSU and WYA express their intention to collaborate on research focused on the HDC and its implementation within the Philippine context.
