Eastern Visayas Consortium for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (EVCIEERD)

Established in 2001, the EVCIEERD has been committed to advance sustainable development in Eastern Visayas, composed of six provinces as the six-point gear signifies in the logo. Relevant research, development, and innovation in industry, energy and emerging technologies are the thrusts of the consortium. The red-shaded gear and the yellow-shaded lightning symbol denote the consortium’s burning dedication to be relevant and responsive to the needs of the community, industry and energy sectors. As the gear symbolizes motion, denoted by the blue-lined circle, the consortium continues its noble mission and contribution towards the fulfillment of regional and national goals.
