Guided by the principles of the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, EVSU strategically aligns its institutional policies, programs, and partnerships to contribute meaningfully to all 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In 2024, EVSU strengthened its sustainability governance by integrating SDG-oriented strategies across academic curricula, research programs, community engagement initiatives, and campus operations. SDG 15: Life on Land
EVSU supports SDG 15: Life on Land through initiatives that conserve biodiversity, protect terrestrial ecosystems, and promote sustainable land use. Research, extension, and campus greening projects contribute to forest conservation, habitat restoration, and environmental education.
In 2024, the university implemented tree-planting programs, conducted biodiversity research, and engaged communities in sustainable land management—demonstrating its commitment to protecting and restoring terrestrial ecosystems for the benefit of all life forms.
