EVSU shall:
Promote sustainable water use and conservation by implementing efficiency measures, rainwater harvesting systems, and water recycling practices across all campuses.
Establish wastewater treatment and monitoring systems to minimize pollution, protect ecosystems, and ensure compliance with environmental standards.
Implement comprehensive WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) programs that provide safe drinking water, gender-sensitive sanitation facilities, and hygiene awareness campaigns for students, faculty, and staff.
Integrate water and sanitation education into curricula, research, and extension programs to raise awareness of water security, climate change impacts, and community-based solutions.
Strengthen disaster-resilient water and sanitation systems to ensure continuous access to clean water and safe sanitation during emergencies and natural disasters.
Collaborate with government agencies, LGUs, and partner institutions to enhance water governance, watershed protection, and sustainable sanitation practices in local communities.
Advance applied research and innovation in water resource management, wastewater treatment technologies, and climate-adaptive sanitation systems for the benefit of the region.
Monitor and evaluate campus water use and sanitation services to promote accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement in alignment with sustainability goals.
Through these commitments, EVSU envisions itself as a model institution for clean water and sanitation management, fostering a culture of sustainability and resilience that contributes to healthier campuses, empowered communities, and the achievement of global development goals.
