SDG Report – Introduction 2024

Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) continues to advance its mission as a transformative institution, committed not only to excellence in education, research, and extension, but also to promoting a sustainable and equitable future for the region and beyond. Guided by the principles of the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, EVSU strategically aligns its institutional policies, programs, and partnerships to contribute meaningfully to all 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In 2024, EVSU strengthened its sustainability governance by integrating SDG-oriented strategies across academic curricula, research programs, community engagement initiatives, and campus operations. The university prioritizes inclusive education, health and well-being, environmental stewardship, economic empowerment, and collaborative partnerships as core pillars of its approach to sustainability. Through this comprehensive framework, EVSU ensures that every program, project, and initiative contributes directly or indirectly to the attainment of the global goals by 2030.
