SCHEDULE AND PLATFORM
The 6th International STEAM Research Congress or iSTEAM+ 2023 will be held on September 19-21, 2023 via ZOOM Teleconferencing.

• Deadline for abstract submission for presentation consideration: August 18, 2023
• Final payment for paper presenters: August 18, 2023
• Final Payment for participants/observers: September 8, 2023

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
200-word abstract in Microsoft Word shall be submitted to the secretariat through isteam@evsu.edu.ph. The abstract should have the following parts:
(1) introduction of the topic;
(2) objectives;
(3) methods;
(4) results;
(5) conclusion and
(6) keywords (which may either be a discipline of the study, concepts investigated, methods and process). In addition, the proponent/researcher shall also submit his or her formal 2×2 photo, ORCID ID, name of institution, and institution logo.

Notice of acceptance shall be given to qualified presenters. Qualified presenters must submit their full paper. To be considered for the Best Paper Award, each part of the manuscript must be accurate in substance and form.

FULL PAPER SUBMISSION

  1. Manuscript should be typed double-spaced throughout the paper with 1-inch margin on all sides, using Times New Roman, font size 12 and arranged as follows: Title, Abstract, Introduction, Framework of the Study, Objectives of the Study, Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusions, Acknowledgments and References. All pages must be numbered consecutively. Follow the American Psychological Association (APA) style manual in preparing the manuscript. The length of the manuscript should not exceed 7,000 words.
  2. Tables, graphs, illustrations and photographs should be self-contained and must complement, but not duplicate, information contained in the text. In preparing the manuscript, embed the tables and figures into the text. Illustrations and photographs should have an image resolution of at least 300 DPI (Dots per inch). Figures should be in an acceptable format (JPEG, JPG, PNG) and be of high quality. Each figure should have a caption, comprising a brief title (not on the figure itself) and a description of the illustration. Text in the illustrations should be kept to a minimum.
  3. Equations should be justified to the left margin and numbered consecutively, e.g., (1), (2), etc., at the right margin, and thus can be referred to as such in the text. Provide meaning to all symbols used.
  4. SI units (meter, kilogram etc.), as outlined in the latest edition of Units, Symbols and Abbreviations: A Guide for Medical and Scientific Editors and Authors (Royal Society of Medicine Press, London), should be used wherever possible. Statistics and measurements should always be given in figures; that is, 10 mm, except where the number begins the sentence. When the number does not refer to a unit measurement, it is spelt out, except when the number is greater than nine. Use only the standard abbreviation.

VIRTUAL CONFERENCE REQUIREMENTS
Participants should have a mobile phone/laptop, stable internet connectivity and ZOOM account to participate in this Virtual Research Congress. The Conference will be live through ZOOM Teleconferencing from September 19-21, 2023 from 8:30 am-5:00 pm Philippine Standard Time with timed breaks. Confirmed conference participants and presenters will receive the ZOOM Meeting ID and Password prior to the 6th iSTEAM 2023.
