Bulletin BHUMSERV faculty pay courtesy visit to univ president

Faculty members of Eastern Visayas State University’s newly approved Bachelor of Human Services (BHUMSERV) program, led by College of Arts and Sciences Dean Dr. Glenda B. Tupaz, paid a courtesy visit to University President Dr. Dennis C. De Paz at the Office of the University President on April 21.

The visit followed the recent closing of applications for the program on April 16, which saw strong interest from prospective students. With application slots filled, the university is hopeful to open at least one section composed of 40 to 45 pioneering students for the upcoming academic year.

As EVSU prepares to welcome the first batch of Human Services students, the university continues its efforts to ensure that they will learn in an environment that nurtures compassion, critical thinking, and community service.

With this pioneering program, EVSU further demonstrates its dedication to providing education that meets the needs of the communities it serves.
