Bulletin Celebrating Creativity and Excellence at the RCAF 2026 Literary Arts Competition

The Regional Culture and Arts Festival (RCAF) Literary Arts Competition was successfully held on March 11, 2026, bringing together some of the most talented student writers from State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) across Region 8.

Co-hosted by Leyte Normal University and Eastern Visayas State University, the event served as a vibrant platform for young literary artists to showcase their creativity, critical thinking, and mastery of language through various writing categories. Delegates competed in a range of literary forms, highlighting not only their individual talents but also the rich cultural narratives and diverse perspectives present in the region.

The competition fostered a spirit of camaraderie and healthy competition among participants, as they exchanged ideas and inspired one another through their works. It also reaffirmed the importance of literary arts in preserving culture, promoting self-expression, and nurturing future storytellers and communicators.

Through this collaborative effort, the RCAF Literary Arts Competition continues to strengthen the appreciation for arts and culture within the academic community, while empowering students to use their voices to inform, inspire, and create meaningful impact.
