Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) president Dr. Dennis C. de Paz met with delegates from the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) last January 21 to discuss on the feasibility of implementing a kiosk at the Main Campus.

Present in the gathering were Cosme T. Socito, Jr., eGovPh Lead; and Clement Chris P. Abaigar, Project Development Officer of DICT Region 8. Also present were officials from the university’s Information Communication Technology Office (ICTO) and Planning Office.

The kiosk is planned to be implemented for the purpose of making various online government operations more accessible to the public. Furthermore, the discussions highlighted the possibility of the kiosk offering functionality for online university operations such as the checking of grades and enrollment status.
