The Gender and Development (GAD) Office of Eastern Visayas State University, headed by Director Dr. Fatima Socorro M. Quianzon, is hosting a transformative seminar titled “Building Safer Spaces” on November 21, 2024, at the GS Function Hall.
The event aims to orient EVSU student leaders, non-teaching personnel, and GAD coordinators on key highlights of Violence Against Women (VAW) awareness and prevention. This initiative is part of the university’s continuing efforts to foster inclusivity and create a safer, more gender-sensitive campus environment as it gears toward becoming an inclusive smart university.
The GAD Office encourages all EVSUnistas to work together in building a respectful and inclusive community for everyone.
