The Eastern Visayas State University community joins the nation in observance of the 18-day campaign to end Violence against Women (VAW) from Nov 24 to December 12, 2025
The university, through its Gender and Development (GAD) office formally opened the campaign during the flag-raising ceremony, November 24.
The annual 18-day campaign is carried out in line with the mandates of the Inter-Agency Council on Violence Against Women and their Children (IACVAWC) under Republic Act 9262, which seeks to put an end to VAW through sustained advocacy, awareness, and action.
Through its observance of said campaign, EVSU emphasizes its responsibility of upholding a culture of safety, respect, and virtue within its campuses and communities.
