Bulletin EVSU launches Gender Sensitivity Training for top and middle management, introduces Regional GAD Resource Pool Certification

Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) recently launched a Gender Sensitivity Training for its top and middle management, alongside the certification of the Eastern Visayas Regional Pool of GAD Resource Persons, at the ORDExS Studio Room of the Main Campus.

The two-day training, hosted at the EVSU ORDExS Building, was held to strengthen gender awareness, inclusivity, and sensitivity among leaders in the academe.

Designed to be both extensive and transformative, the program puts into focus the role of administrators and managers in creating a culture that values diversity, respects differences, and challenges barriers that hinder equal opportunities.

By initiating trainings like this, EVSU ensures that its decision-makers and administrators are well-equipped with the knowledge and perspectives to lead with fairness and inclusivity.

This bulletin is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 05: Gender Equality
