Eastern Visayas State University warmly welcomed His Excellency Karel Hejc, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Philippines, during his official visit to Tacloban City, Friday, September 19.
Ambassador Hejc was received by EVSU President Dr. Dennis C. De Paz; Vice President for Students, Internationalization, and External Affairs Dr. Analyn C. Españo; Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) Region 8 Manager Engr. Doroteo Batan; and Prof. Faustito Aure, Director for Internationalization for Higher Education.
The envoy’s visit to EVSU coincided with the weeklong celebration of the Cine Europa 28 Film Festival in Tacloban City, where he is set to serve as Guest of Honor during the festival’s closing ceremony on September 20, 2025.
