Bulletin MEIC holds re-echo training at EVSU

The Eastern Visayas State University, through its Metal and Engineering Innovation Center (MEIC), is holding a re-echo training on machine design, innovation thinking, and various welding techniques at the EVSU ORDExS Training Room from April 29 to May 2, 2025.

The training covers topics including machine operation; shielded metal arc welding (SMAW); gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW); gas metal arc welding (GMAW); and the principles of metal fabrication.

In attendance are Dr. Analyn C. Españo, Vice President for Research and Development and Extension Services; Prof. Niñoval Pacaol, Head of Research and Development Monitoring and Evaluation; Prof. Bernard Niño Q. Membrebe, Dean of the College of Technology; and technical experts from the College of Engineering, College of Technology, College of Education, EVSU Ormoc Campus, and EVSU Tanauan Campus.

These trainings have been organized with the goal of enhancing the participants’ technical knowledge and practical skills in metalworking and engineering processes in support of the MEIC’s commitment to advancing industrial innovation and workforce development.
