In a move to enhance public access to digital government services, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) officially launched an e-Government (e-Gov) kiosk at the Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) Main Campus on February 23, 2026.
The activity took place at the EVSU Main Campus Administration Building, where university officials, DICT representatives, faculty members, and students gathered for the ceremonial unveiling of the kiosk. The installation of the e-Gov kiosk within the campus reflects EVSU’s strong partnership with DICT in advancing digital governance initiatives in Eastern Visayas.
With the e-Gov kiosk now available at EVSU, students, personnel, and members of the surrounding community can conveniently access various online government services through a centralized digital platform. The initiative promotes efficiency, accessibility, and digital inclusion by reducing the need for physical visits to government offices.
The presence of the e-Gov kiosk inside the University further strengthens EVSU’s role as a forward-looking institution committed to innovation, community engagement, and technology-driven public service solutions.
