News Eastern Visayas State University Begins 5-Day AACCUP Accreditation Survey for 22 Programs

Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) has commenced a five-day AACCUP accreditation survey, during which 22 of its academic programs are being evaluated by external accreditors. This assessment aims to ensure that the university’s programs meet high standards in various areas critical to quality education.

President Dennis C. De Paz expressed his support and optimism for the accreditation process, stating, “May we catch excellence in this 5-day accreditation.” His message reflects the university’s strong commitment to upholding academic quality and continuous improvement.

The external accreditors are thoroughly reviewing different aspects of each program, including curriculum content, faculty qualifications, available facilities, and student outcomes. This comprehensive evaluation helps determine whether the programs comply with the rigorous standards set by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP).

Successful accreditation will affirm EVSU’s dedication to delivering quality education, strengthening its reputation, and enhancing the overall academic experience for students. The university community looks forward to positive results as they continue striving for excellence.
