This marks the third consecutive year that EVSU has received the Platinum Cluster Award—first achieved in March 2023.

Following the theme, “Empowering ITSOs towards Global Recognition of Innovation Breakthroughs”, this year’s ITSO Presidents’ Summit recognized the many accomplishments of ITSOs across the nation and provided clustering and registration updates.

The Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) is the government agency responsible for the administration and enforcement of intellectual property laws in the country. Operating under the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), IPOPHL oversees the protection of patents, trademarks, copyrights, industrial designs, and other forms of intellectual property. It aims to foster innovation and creativity by empowering inventors, researchers, and institutions through proper IP registration, education, and commercialization efforts.

The Platinum award is IPOPHL’s highest distinction for innovation offices, honoring exceptional performance in key milestones such as conducting foundation courses, conducting patent searches, drafting and filing at least seven invention patents, and successfully commercializing intellectual property.
