EVSU conducted its Seminar on Gender-Fair and Inclusive Language on November 21, 2025, attended by employees and faculty dedicated to advancing gender equality in academia. With the theme “Promoting Gender Equality in Academia via Inclusive Language and a Gender-Responsive Curriculum,” the seminar highlighted the power of words in building respectful and equitable learning spaces.
Discussions centered on mainstreaming inclusive language through GAD mandates, understanding the pentadic model of the core GAD pillar with focus on gender-responsive curriculum and governance, and further strengthening inclusive discourse across academic settings.
Through these conversations, EVSU continues to strengthen its commitment to creating a campus culture where inclusivity and respect thrive.
