In celebration of National Women’s Month, Eastern Visayas State University’s Gender and Development (GAD) Office hosted a seminar highlighting the role of women in driving sustainable and innovative solutions within the traditional economy.
The seminar, held on March 28 at the GS Function Hall, brought together women participants, students, and faculty members to engage in meaningful discussions on entrepreneurship and innovation.
Speakers emphasized the importance of preserving cultural traditions while embracing innovative strategies that promote growth and sustainability. Participants were introduced to practical approaches to enhance their entrepreneurial ventures, enabling them to adapt to modern challenges without losing touch with time-honored practices.
