Tacloban City, Philippines – In celebration of the 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA), the Civil Service Commission Regional Office VIII, in partnership with Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) and various government and non-government agencies, hosted the 2025 Government Job Fair at Robinsons North Tacloban.

This nationwide initiative opened doors for fresh graduates, career shifters, and community members actively seeking employment. It served as a vital platform for strengthening the country’s government workforce by recruiting competent individuals committed to public service. During the regional fair, hundreds of applicants gathered at the venue, including 14 candidates hired on the spot by EVSU through its Hired-On-the-Spot (HOTS) Contract-of-Service Program.
