In a ceremony brimming with pride and gratitude, CRIMSON RESORT AND SPA, MACTAN CEBU honored its group of student interns from the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management. These interns under the College of Technology of EVSU Main Campus were recognized for their outstanding work during their recent placements in a ceremony full of pride and appreciation.
The event, which took place in the hotel’s exquisite Coral Ballroom, honored the commitment, expertise, and new insights that these budding hospitality professionals brought to the table.
Individual recognition was given to interns from a variety of nearby colleges and universities who worked for several months in various hotel departments, including front desk, food and beverage, housekeeping, sports and leisure, finance department, and the Spa.
The human resource business partner at Crimson, Miss Lyndee Reyes, conveyed her heartfelt gratitude for the interns’ work. “Our student internship program is a cornerstone of our commitment to nurturing future talent in the hospitality industry,” she said. “This year’s group has truly exceeded our expectations. Their enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and genuine passion for service have not only enriched our team but have also significantly contributed to the positive experiences of our guests.”
During the ceremony, special award of top commended student-trainee was presented to interns who demonstrated exceptional performance, leadership, and a remarkable aptitude for the industry. Among the recipients were:

The hotel management acknowledged each recipient’s exceptional accomplishments with a letter of commendation, a certificate of recognition, and a unique hotel token. The Crimson Resort and Spa’s commitment to education and its crucial role in forming the hospitality landscape of the industry are further supported by the positive effects of this year’s program.
