News EVSU places 140th in the Philippines in AD Scientific Index 2025 Rankings

EVSU recently placed 140th among higher education institutions in the Philippines in the recently released 2025 Alper-Doger (AD) Scientific Index Rankings, a globally recognized ranking system that evaluates researchers and academic institutions based on research productivity and impact.

In this edition, a total of 71 faculty members from EVSU were included among the 13,646 top-ranking scientists in the Philippines, which is a significant leap from the 21 recognized individuals in the previous year.

Leading the list are EVSU’s top scientists: Dr. Jeffry V. Ocay, ranked 1,132nd in the Philippines; Prof. Jasten Keneth D. Treceñe, at 1,973rd; Prof. Eduardo Edu C. Cornillez, Jr., placed 2,018th; Prof. Jomar C. Cabuquin, at 2,619th; Dr. Jessie R. Paragas, ranked 2,724th; Prof. Jessie Richie N. De Los Santos, at 2,787th; Dr. Ryzel Maureen T. Figer-Canes, ranked 3,245th; Prof. Niñoval Pacal, at 3,341st; and Dr. Sehldon Ives G. Agaton ranked at 3,746th.

In terms of the university’s performance in specific fields, EVSU ranked 89th in the Philippines for Engineering and Technology, 85th for Agriculture and Forestry, 59th in Education, 157th in Social Sciences, 24th in History, Philosophy, and Theology, 78th in Social Sciences and Humanities, and 82nd in Arts and Humanities.
