Asked anent the possible opening of classes across campuses by January, Dr. de Paz is affirmative that the conduct of the limited in-person classes will eventuate making an allowance for that they will comply with the protocols set forth by Commission on Higher Education. It is to be recollected that CHED releases a memorandum that gives mandate to the universities to retrofit classrooms that will make the learning environment more conducive to learning with lesser menace against the proliferation of Covid-19.

“For the information of dear students, the top management is planning that once the university will open, we will first give priority to students who have laboratory subjects, particularly, this will be for 3rd and 4th year students– that’s the priority at the moment. If the CHED will allow us to have more, we will do so. Because the classrooms are already prepared for this limited face-to-face classes. We already prepared plan for this limited face-to-face (classes). We’re planning to divide the classes into four; In that way, having thousands of students divided by four, so at least we will limit the students in the campus; Flexible learning modality will still be implemented,” Dr. de Paz ascertained.

Spotlights, intermission numbers, chats, and good ambience demarcated the event. Dr. de Paz answered the questions wholeheartedly and he moored his responses on the vision that he wants to see for the beloved university.

“EVSU is really working; We are in the right direction, that we’re moving forward for the better EVSU because EVSU is always there in the region as one of the best universities; With that, I am here to give my commitment as a president, I am committed to give the best education to all of you, Dr. de Paz promised.
