News EVSU strengthens international research ties at EVCIEERD-AIT MOU signing in Thailand

EVSU continues to strengthen its research and international collaboration initiatives through active participation in strategic partnerships that promote innovation and academic development, as part of the International Collaboration and Regional Exposure Visit to Thailand on Smart Cities and Sustainable Communities organized by the Eastern Visayas Consortium for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (EVCIEERD) in collaboration with the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) happening from March 15-21, 2026.

Dr. Dennis C. De Paz, University President, together with the Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Extension Services, Dr. Danilo B. Pulma and the Vice President for Students, Internationalization, and External Affairs, Dr. Analyn C. Españo, took part in witnessing the formal signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the AIT in Thailand and the EVCIEERD.

Being part of EVCIEERD enables EVSU to pursue wider opportunities for research collaboration and innovation-led initiatives together with partner institutions in Eastern Visayas and international organizations such as the AIT.
