News National DABEST Research Congress gathers student researchers

The second National DABEST (Development Studies, Arts and Humanities, Business and Economics, Education, Science and Engineering, and Technology Innovation) Research Congress with the theme, “Expanding Engagement of Young Scholars in the Academe through Science, Technology, and Innovation” gathered student researchers and advisers all over the Philippines for paper presentation at Eastern Visayas State University on October 26-27, 2022.

Plenary Speakers from prestigious universities such as Dr. Bert J. Tuga, University President, Philippine Normal University, Dr. Shirley N. Dita, Director, Lasallian Institute for Development and Educational Research (LIDER), De la Salle University, Dr. Victor B. Asio, Dean, College of Agriculture, Visayas State University, and Dr. Argel A. Bandala, Professor and Research Faculty, De la Salle University and EVSU’s Former RD Lead graced the occasion.

Meanwhile, the Chair of the Commission on Higher Education, Hon. J. Prospero E. De Vera III served as the Keynote Speaker.
