The Office of Research and Development, in collaboration with the Eastern Visayas State University-Tanauan Campus, Dulag Campus and Graduate School, held an In-House Review, May 17-18, 2023 via zoom.
As mentioned by Dr. Gabino P. Petilos, Dean of the Graduate School, the activity aimed to review papers for possible publication to reputable journals; increase research productivity of the faculty members of the university; disseminate scholarly information and strengthen collaboration among researchers.
Being the host of the event, Dr. Anabelle B. Pilapil, Director of Tanauan Campus, welcomed the participants with encouragement and appreciation.
To set the tone of the In-House Review, the Director for Research and Development, Dr. Pearl Aphrodite B. Carnice, elucidated the Mechanics of Presentation.
Satisfied with the worthwhile undertaking of the Office of Research and Development, the Vice- President for Research, Development and Extension Services, Dr. Analyn C. Españo delivered the inspirational message,in lieu of the University President, with vigor and enthusiasm.
Dr. Ian Phil Canlas of University of Central Asia, Kyrgyzstan, Prof. Danilo V. Rogayan, Jr., of President Ramon Magsaysay State University, and Dr. Francis Jesmar P. Montalbo of Batangas State University served as the evaluators of the papers presented.
Eighteen papers across the University System were presented categorized into Science, Technology, Engineering, Agri-Fisheries, Mathematics (STEAM); Education, Humanities, and the Arts; Policy Studies, Economics, and Laws; and Environmental Science, Health and Community Development.
Some of the papers presented were already published in reputable journals while others are undergoing the review process.
