News PSFI and BCFI grants scholarship to 15 EVSU students

The Bloomberry Cultural Foundation Inc. thru the Pilipinas Shell Foundation Inc. recognized fifteen (15) students of Eastern Visayas State University as recipients of their pilot medical scholarship program.

The scholarship is available for tertiary education and seeks to offer financial help that includes tuition,
education allowance, and thesis support. Scholars will be supported throughout their studies, including a review grant for those with board exams. Additionally, there are opportunities for capacity building and job linkage for these scholars.

However, in exchange, the students are expected to provide a service for the government – they must work for the government for at least a year.

Students who receive the scholarship are enrolled in BS Chem Eng, BS Environmental Science, BS Mathematics, and BS Statistics

Dr. Lydia Morante, Vice President for Academic Affairs, expressed her sincere gratitude for the support received from Pilipinas Shell Foundation Inc. and Bloomberry Cultural Foundation Inc. Morante believes this assistance greatly benefits the students.. “This is a testament to the potential that lies within each of our scholars this is an affirmation of your hard work, dedication and resilience of your education.”

The selection process required complete applications to ensure fairness and diligence in awarding the scholarships to the deserving students.
