News Sports, Culture, Arts Festival braces the university for SCUAA 2022

The Office of the Cultural Affairs and Sports Development of the University initiated a Sports, Culture, and Arts Festival on October 24-26, 2022 to choose across the Eastern Visayas State University system the students to represent the university in the forthcoming State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA) meet on November 27- December 2, 2022 at Southern Leyte State University.

The support of the key officials of the universities headed by Dr. Dennis C. de Paz, the University President and the great leadership of the Sports Director, Dr. Joel A. Alfarero and the Director of the Cultural Affairs, Dr. Biato Ambe, Jr. made the event successful.

The following were declared the winners of the different sports activities:

The overall result shows that the Main Campus garnered 7 gold medals, 1 silver and 1 bronze declaring it as the Champion.

On the other hand, Ormoc Campus bagged 3 gold medals and 7 silver medals which made it in the 2nd spot.

Meanwhile, the Tanauan Campus got 1 gold medal and 6 bronze medals which placed it in the 3rd place.

Furthermore, Carigara Campus obtained 1 silver medal and 1 bronze medal while the Burauen Campus had 1 bronze medal.
