The College of Education, Student Teaching Department concluded the Tacloban City and Leyte Division In-Campus and Off- Campus Deployment through an Exit Conference, May 26 at Miguel Romualdez Memorial Auditorium.
The event set-forth with welcome remarks delivered by the Head of Elementary Education Department, Dr. Bryan H. Gervacio. His message stressed on a reminder to the student-interns to always be prepared.
Education Program Supervisor in MAPEH and Multigrade of Leyte Schools Division, Dr. Crisanto T. Daga gave his inspirational talk quoting the popular lines , “Teaching is beyond passion and responsibilities as we shape the lives of our learners”.
The speeches of Teaching Internship Coordinator of Tacloban City Schools Division, Dr. Juliet L. Lim;Teaching Internship Coordinator of Leyte Schools Division, Dr. Gerry B. Ranes; Teaching Internship Association President, Mr. Alfredo Q. Devocion became the highlight of the event for they created impactful and insightful impressions towards the student interns.
“Always be reminded of the 4C’s – competence, connection, collaboration, and character wherever life would bring” Dr. Ranes said.
To cheer up the student-interns, Dr. Lim taught them the Four Rules as together they say “I am the best, you are the best, we are the best, and God is the best”.
Also present in the event were the school principals of Tacloban City Schools Division and Leyte Schools Division as they were awarded together with Dr. Juliet L. Lim, Dr. Gerry B. Ranes, Dr. Crisanto T. Daga with certificate and token for their valuable efforts and commitment in the student teaching.
The Head of the Field Study and Student Teaching Department, Dr. Lilibeth D. Alido expressed her heartfelt appreciation in her words of commitment and closing remarks. Mentioned in her speech are all the people behind the success of the In-Campus and Off-Campus.
