Abstract

Electronic Accounting: Electronic Journal and Ledger with Decision Support System will deliver a customized Electronic Accounting: Electronic Journal and Ledger system that is more dependable, efficient, and capable of producing reports on Tabontabon LGU transactions. Electronic accounting is critical for local governments and businesses not only to record and track current and historical occurrences, but also as one of the most crucial instruments for management to forecast a firm's financial future and take appropriate actions. By studying the primary roles of accountants and financial professionals, this study focuses on the current and future function of accounting systems in municipalities. The researchers' software development process is based on the Rapid Application Development Model of the Systems Development Life Cycle. The rapid application development (RAD) philosophy stresses the rapid and iterative delivery of prototypes and apps. The researchers performed a series of interviews, analyzed the acquired data, and presented the system's architecture and functionality in such a way that respondents could test and utilize the system. The results indicated that the developed Electronic Accounting software was educational and implementable. It is concluded that the created Electronic Accounting: Electronic Journal and Ledger with Decision Support met the objectives of simplifying and expediting the job of accounting employees. The system runs smoothly and reliably when it comes to generating dependable reports and processes.
