Abstract

The GEOGAS App is equipped with a web application and geolocation technology that enhances the effective and efficient delivery of Liquefied Petroleum Gas in the Municipality of Burauen, Leyte, Philippines. The system performs an intelligent decision support system utilizing route optimization algorithm of the customer’s pinned location. The study utilized a quantitative descriptive research design to effectively and efficiently define the system framework. The system development utilized Agile SCRUM methodology in building the application prototypes to meet user and business requirements. The results of the study revealed that the system operates promptly and provides optimized and detailed geolocation maps of customer orders equipped with a route optimization track. The software quality evaluation using ISO 25010 attained a significant rating of 3.95, interpreted as Very Effective. The system has consistently surpassed user and business requirements on the different software quality standards. The robust development of the system is equipped with a secure database server and accessible online to all computing platforms. Unified feedback from IT experts, delivery staff, office staff, and the target customers expressed the useful features of the system.
