Abstract
If indeed our national leaders wanted the Filipinos to tread a "matuwid na daan", then they should be the first to step forward, compose themselves righteously and sincerely walk straight with dignity towards the realization of all their promises. In the same vein that as we the ordinary people were the ones who gave them the mandate to administer the country, thru our votes, then they must heed to our aspirations and conduct themselves appropriately as public servants. Ideally, as their true and real masters, we expect from them a sterling feat of governance, no less.
