Abstract

The review of literature is one of the tasks researchers find most daunting. Gathering and organizing a voluminous amount of information into a coherent piece of writing can be challenging. Difficulties can come from managing such a substantial quantity of information and sometimes from choosing to report on some of the less significant sources. The purpose of this chapter, therefore, is to discuss the basic consideration to bear in mind when conducting a literature review and how to do one well.
