Abstract

One of the most important human activities is learning, it is consider as the application of knowledge,skills, and values and attributes a unique services to meet the individual educational needs and thecommunity. Many people felt that mathematics is important from all walks of life: the learners orstudents, financial expert, merchants, agriculturist, market vendors, scientist, and all men working indifferent areas. Realizing the major contribution of mathematics, to a student’s education and its valueto the life of the individual learners, teachers, and all those concerned in education, thus this study willfind out on the reasons for BSED Math student’s migration to other courses. The research design of thestudy is a mixed quantitative and qualitative, will provide information and characterized the learners andteachers towards the teaching and learning affective responses regarding their affective dimension inteaching and learning tertiary mathematics and helping the students develop their self-esteem byidentifying what choices they will have to make their choices in life. . The result of the study shows thatthe respondent needs a motivational instrumentation that meet their needs, and digital resources thatwill develop into transformative learning with the conducive environment and school amenities. Andneeded expert and quality teachers in mathematics and review the school program.
