Abstract
Following teacher education graduates gives empirical data on the graduates' career profiles and skills. This study was done to collect data on the employment and competences of teacher education graduates from 2014 to 2017 and to assess the program's curriculum's relevance given that it is the campus's first. Between October and December 2018, 79 randomly selected respondents who majored in any of the teacher education programs, including Physical Science, Mathematics, or Fishery Technology, responded to a Commission on Higher Education's standardized tracer research questionnaire. We used frequency counts, percentages, ranking, and mean. The findings indicate that the majority of respondents are single professionals employed in the government on a regular or permanent basis. The majority of respondents majored in mathematics, and the majority of those who passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers came from this program. Some responders obtained their first work in less than a month, earning between $5,000.00 and less than $10,000.00 per month. The majority of respondents report that they remain in their employment for the salary and benefits, and that their job is related to the university program they studied, and that they find their acquired communication skills quite valuable at work. Students pursuing a career in education should be equipped with the required skills and knowledge, as they contribute to graduates' success in passing the license exams and securing stable and secure employment.
