Held for the third time running, the Youth Regional Affairs Dialogue 2022 will be held from 23rd – 31st July 2022 at the NTU campus in Singapore. 80 youth leaders (40 from top Asia universities and 40 from top Singapore universities) will be selected for the dialogue.

Centered around the theme of social cohesion in the region, participants will be assigned to one of the five dialogue sub-themes: (a) Culture and Identity, (b) Income Inequality and Social Mobility, (c) Growing Intergenerational Divide, (d) Media, Information and Technology, and (e) Healthcare and Well-Being. More information on the conference theme and sub-themes can be found at the end of this factsheet in Annex 1. With rigorous academic guidance offered by NTU faculty, participants will be challenged to critically analyze the issue of social cohesion in Asia in relation to their assigned sub-theme, as well as formulate viable solutions that can mitigate and bridge the divides and disruptions.

Eligibility

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have completed at least 2 semesters of study with the home university.
  • Be an outstanding student leader with a strong academic and co-curricular involvement, as well as the ability to act as a youth representative of your home university and country.
  • Citizen and resident of the country of your home university.
  • Be able to operate in English, which is the working language of the programme. Please attach your highest English certification (eg. IELTS, TOEFL), if any. You may be interviewed through a telephone/Skype interview to show your proficiency in English.
  • Be able to travel and commit to the entire period of the dialogue in Singapore.
  • Recommended by your home university.
  • Be fully vaccinated with WHO EUL vaccines (click here for definition of fully vaccinated) /medically exempted from Covid-19 vaccination at least two weeks before arrival in Singapore.

  • Completed application form in PDF format
  • Latest degree transcript in PDF format (Official Transcript)
  • Certificate of English as Medium of Instruction
  • Other related documents.

Duration of the Program

  • 23rd – 31st July 2022 

Deadline of submission of outbound application to DLSU

  • 28 February 2022

  3. Attach a copy of the following: a) EAF with assessment at the bottom; b) Grades from MLS; c) Curriculum Audit from MLS; d) Passport bio-page; e) CV; and f) NTU-USP Application Form
  4. You will receive an email invitation for an interview from the OVPERI if you qualify/pass in the initial screening. Otherwise, please consider your application unsuccessful. You may apply again next year.
