The Learning Institute for the Environment (LIFE) is a research and training center affiliated with Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU), a public university in the Philippines. As an institutional project, it was established to provide the means to expedite the best learning in Environmental Science and Rural Development through research and development and the recruitment of top-notch intellectuals trained to assume leadership positions in their respective professions, thereby establishing a culture of excellence and continuous improvement as a hallmark of existence.
