The College of Business and Entrepreneurship held its Recognition Day on June 17, 2024, at the Graduate School function hall of Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU). The intimate and memorable event was comprised of the families, mentors, and professors of the awardees.
Dr. Jeremy C. Ragot, Head of BSA, opened the program with the welcome message, followed by the inspirational address of the college Dean, Dr. Rose Anna L. Refuerzo. Also present were Prof. Giselle Janna Joyce C. Morcilla, Head of BSM, Prof. Darwin G. Navarrosa, Head of BSE, and Dr. Melane A. Aguilar, Head of BSOA.
Several awards were presented – Best in Marketing Plan, Best in Project Management, Best in Business Plan, and Service Merit Award- to name a few. Further, the Best in Accounting Research with thesis title: Relevance of Internship Experience in the Core- Competency Framework for Entry to the Philippine Accountancy Profession was granted to a five-member team led by Adrienne C. Golong.
EVSU will continue to support Recognition Days in its different colleges as an incentive to celebrate and appreciate the hard work and time that these graduating students have yielded. Aligned with the core mission of the institution, it will continue to produce a competent human resource ingrained with positive values needed to propel sustainable development.
