News EVSU conducts in-house research review for 1st Quarter

Faculty across colleges and campuses of Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) presented their research during the 1st Quarter Proposal Hearing and In-house Review, spearheaded by the Office of Research and Development.

A total of 16 research proposals on STEM, agri-fisheries, policy studies, humanities, engineering, education, and community development were presented during the R&D Proposal Hearing on March 5-6, 2025. Additionally, the three-day in-house review held on March 12-14 featured 26 completed and published research outputs.

Among the distinguished evaluators are experts from esteemed institutions in the Philippines, namely Prof. Ryan Rey M. Daga, Dr. Helen B. Boholano, Dr. Leni Yap-Dejeto, Dr. Las Johansen Caluza for Day 1 and 2. Day 3 included Dr. Nancy Dayap and Dr. Helen B. Boholano as evaluators. The 1st Quarter research proposal and review was hosted by Carigara Campus, with the College of Education and College of Business and Entrepreneurship as co-hosts.

These quarterly research reviews aim to strengthen EVSU’s research culture among faculty and staff and ensure research outputs’ alignment with the university’s research agenda.
