Eastern Visayas State University, in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), kicked off a five-day capability-building training for trainers under the Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program. The training commenced on March 31 at the EVSU Auditorium.

Led by DSWD program development officers, the sessions featured in-depth discussions and open forums aimed at equipping tutors with a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities within the program. The initiative underscored both institutions’ shared commitment to quality education and community development through strengthened tutorial support.
