Bulletin ITSO holds 2nd IP foundation course; 2025 Nat’l IP month

The Office of Innovation and Technology Support hosted its second IP Foundation Course as part of the 2025 National Intellectual Property Month celebration at the EVSU ORDExS Training Room, Tuesday, April 15.

Said course brought together teachers from the Department of Education across Tacloban City, students from the Secondary Laboratory School, and the ITSO staff led by Dr. Ma. Windie C. Velarde, Head of ITSO.

Dr. Analyn C. Españo, Vice President for Research, Development, and Extension Services, welcomed the participants and expressed her support through an encouraging message.

The IP Foundation Course equips participants with knowledge about the Intellectual Property System, including Copyright, Trademarks and Branding, Industrial Design, Patents, and Invention Spotting.

This bulletin is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education;  and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals
