The College of Education recently celebrated the academic achievers of the Class of 2025 during the Academic Excellence Recognition Day, held on June 5, 2025, at the EVSU MRMA. This annual tradition honors graduating students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance throughout the school year.
In attendance were EVSU officials—Dr. Leah Abad, Associate Dean; Dr. Jovito Madeja, Dean; Dr. Lydia Morante, Vice President for Academic Affairs; and Dr. Dennis De Paz, University President—who delivered inspiring and practical messages to guide students as they transition beyond university life.
Awards were presented to students in recognition of their exceptional talent, dedication, and commitment across various fields. These distinctions included the Academic Achievers Award, Best Thesis Award, Research Publication Award, Thesis Publication Award, and Institutional Leadership Award.
This memorable event not only celebrated academic excellence but also served as a testament to the dedication and perseverance of the graduating students. As they step into the next chapter of their lives, may the lessons learned and achievements earned within the walls of EVSU guide them toward greater success. With the support of their mentors and the inspiration drawn from this recognition, they are well-equipped to make meaningful contributions to their fields and communities.
